教育背景

刘惠明律师先后毕业于河海大学工程力学系和南京大学法学院第二学位班，取得工学和法学学士学位。在日本留学、工作六年，就读于日本著名的一桥大学法学院攻读民商法学，获得法学硕士学位，后又取得南京大学法学博士学位。

社会职务

现为河海大学法学院教授、中华全国律协涉外律师领军人才、江苏省十佳涉外律师、江苏省律师协会涉外专业律师人才库成员、南京仲裁委员会仲裁员、哈尔滨仲裁委员会仲裁员、宿迁仲裁委员会仲裁员、留日博士总会副会长、南京欧美同学会副会长、日本江苏总商会副会长、江苏省环境资源法研究会常务理事、中日民商法研究会常务理事。

工作经历

刘惠明律师在河海大学任教，从事法学教育工作多年。1990年取得律师资格并开始从事律师工作。留学日本期间，曾在日本著名的律师事务所工作过两年，担任过在日中律师联合会和留日江苏同学会的秘书长。精通日语及中日两国法律，是江苏省为数不多的留学日本、精通日语的律师，为众多著名的日韩及中资企业、机构提供过公司并购、国际投资、国际贸易、知识产权、建设工程、劳务管理等方面的法律服务。

刘惠明律师在河海大学法学院讲授过多门法律课程，现主要讲授公司法、破产法、票据法、知识产权法等，在这些领域有较高的学术造诣。

刘惠明律师还以中、日两国文字出版、发表过多篇论文、专著、译著。刘惠明律师还积极参与对日战争赔偿诉讼活动，其参与代理的南京大屠杀受害者李秀英名誉侵权一案是迄今为止唯一全面胜诉的案件，还与日本、美国、香港、台湾等地的著名律师事务所保持着良好的工作关系。

Education Background

Liu graduated from the Department of Engineering Mechanics of Hohai University with a bachelor's degree in engineering and the Law School of Nanjing University with the second bachelor’s degree in law. Liu spent six years in studying and working in Japan, during which period, he studied civil and commercial law at the Law School of Hitotsubashi University, a famous Japanese university, and graduated with a master's degree in law. Liu later studied at Nanjing University and graduated with a doctor's degree in law.

Liu is a teacher at Hohai University and has been engaged in legal education for many years. He qualified as a lawyer in 1990 and started working as a lawyer. When Liu studied in Japan, he worked in a famous Japanese law firm for two years, and served as secretarygeneral of the China Lawyers Association in Japan and the Jiangsu Alumni Association in Japan. Liu is proficient in Japanese and the laws of China and Japan, and makes himself one of the few lawyers in Jiangsu Province who studied in Japan and are proficient in Japanese. He has provided legal services on corporate mergers and acquisitions, international investment, international trade, intellectual property rights, construction projects, labor management, etc. for many wellk - down Japanese, Korean and Chinese - funded enterprises and institutions.
