As a lawyer qualified in both the People’s Republic of China and New York State of the United States of America, Mr. Geng is an invaluable resource for many multinational corporations
within and out of the territory of China. Through his years of practice in the headquarter and Shanghai representative office of Dentons Rodyk & Davidson LLP, he is experienced in structur-ing and providing reliable legal expertise in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment and cross-border investment and financing. He is very familiar with the expectations and business operations of both foreign and domestic clients.
Mr. Geng has provided professional services in the areas of strategic mergers and acquisitions involving a wide variety of industries, including infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, TMT,
real estates, foods, high-technologies, automobiles, FMCG, logistics, hotel and leisure industry, etc. He has assisted numerous clients in consummating many high-profile cross-border mergers and acquisitions, as well as restructurings and disposals with onshore and offshore structures.
In addition to mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Geng is also very experienced in foreign direct investments.
